How Did You Get Started?
When I was 14, I started to admire people whose bodies were looking just like those ancient statues of greek gods. I thought, "Well, that's pure perfection! That's how I want to look ONE DAY!" Soon, after a few months, I tried it on my own. I went in the gym and from then on I didn't miss a single workout!
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I change my workout plan very often, but here is one sample plan which worked fine for me:
Sample Workout Week:
DAY 1: chest heavy, triceps light
DAY 2: legs light, shoulders heavy, abs, calves
DAY 3: back heavy, biceps light
DAY 4: /
DAY 5: chest light, triceps heavy
DAY 6: legs heavy, shoulders light, abs, calves
DAY 7: back light, biceps heavy
DAY 8: /
And repeat.
I do 8-15 sets per muscle group per workout (8 for smaller muscles, 15 for bigger).
On "heavy" workouts I do 5-10 repetitions and on "light" 8-15 with more mind-muscle connection.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I often change my nutrition plans, calculate all those calories, proteins, fats, etc. because I like to make my plans simple and useful.
I eat 9 meals a day (including my during-workout meal and PWM). I avoid eating sugars (except around workout) and junk food. So I choose healthy food sources, like chicken and beef, fish, whole eggs, dried fruit, vegetables, nuts, etc.
Becaue I still want to gain some lean mass, I combine 6-8 weeks of small calorie excess with 3-4 weeks of small calorie deficit (mostly because of carbohydrate reduction).
This kind of nutrition plan seems good to me, I don't gain so much fat and so it helps me to stay lean whole year.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I don't "blame" supplements for my gains. Although supplements are important in every serious bodybuilder's life, there's no "miraculous pill". Hard work and a proper nutrition - that's first!
Well, if I really have to choose supplements that have given me the greatest gains, I would say that are: a strong multivitamin, whey protein, BCAAs and a volumizing formula (GKG) with a base of creatine.
Why Do You Love Bodybuilding?
It's a great way to avoid everyday stress and relax myself after school.
I also love it because of that feeling of having muscles pumped with blood and the ability to transform my body in the way I like. I simply love it!
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I don't have any special long-term goals. But I'll try to do my best, gain some lean mass, stay natural, maybe winn some contests in the future and the most inportant - make my body as aesthetic as possible!
